BetAtlas — Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your BetAtlas account and the data associated with it. It satisfies the Google Play "Account deletion URL" / "Data deletion URL" requirement and the equivalent App Store disclosure under Apple's Account Deletion guidelines.
1. How to delete your account
You have two options. Pick whichever works for you.
Option A — In-app (recommended)
- Open the BetAtlas app and sign in.
- Tap the settings icon → Account Settings.
- Scroll to the Danger zone section → tap Delete Account.
- Type
DELETEin the confirmation dialog to enable the button. - Tap Delete Account permanently.
Your account and all associated data are removed immediately. The app returns you to the sign-in screen.
Option B — By email (use this if you've already uninstalled)
If you no longer have the app installed, or you can't sign in for any reason, email us at:

with the following:
- Subject line:
Account deletion request - Body: include the email address on your BetAtlas account, and a sentence confirming you want the account permanently deleted.
We'll verify ownership of the email address (by replying from the address you used to sign up, or by confirming a one-time code we send to it) and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving a verified request. Most requests are processed within 1–3 business days.
We will not require you to reinstall the app or sign in again to complete the deletion.
2. What is deleted
When you delete your account, the following is removed from our systems:
- Your account record (email, display name, password hash, OAuth identifiers).
- All bet records imported from your sportsbooks or imported via CSV.
- All sportsbook connection records, including the encrypted credentials and session cookies we used to sync your data.
- All in-app preferences (theme, dashboard layout, notification settings, date range defaults, etc.).
- Your AI Analytics chat history.
- Your subscription record (the entitlement record we hold; see Section 3 for the App Store / Google Play side).
- Refresh tokens, password reset tokens, two-factor secrets, and biometric opt-in flags.
This deletion is immediate and irreversible. We do not retain a "deleted" copy or a soft-delete shadow. (See Section 4 for the narrow exceptions.)
3. What you must delete elsewhere
A few things sit outside BetAtlas's control. Deleting your BetAtlas account does not automatically:
- Cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. Apple and Google control billing. If you have an active BetAtlas Pro subscription, cancel it through:
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → BetAtlas → Cancel.
- Android: Play Store app → menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → BetAtlas → Cancel. Failure to cancel before deleting your account will result in continued billing until the current period ends.
- Revoke "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Apple" access. To remove BetAtlas from Google's third-party connections list, visit https://myaccount.google.com/connections. For Apple, visit https://appleid.apple.com → Sign-In and Security → Sign in with Apple.
- Affect data held by your sportsbooks. BetAtlas only reads bet history from your DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, etc. accounts; we don't control or modify any data inside those accounts.
4. What we may retain after deletion
We may retain narrow categories of data after account deletion, only as required by law or for the limited purposes below:
- Aggregated, fully anonymized usage metrics that cannot be linked back to you (e.g. "1,247 users were active in May 2026"). These are not personal data after anonymization.
- Transaction records required for tax, accounting, or financial reporting obligations (typically retained 7 years per US tax law). These records identify a purchase, not your behavior in the app.
- Limited security logs (IP address, timestamp, action) for up to 90 days for fraud and abuse prevention. After 90 days these are deleted.
- Records of the deletion itself (date, account email hash, source of request) for up to 1 year to demonstrate compliance with deletion requests if questioned by a regulator. We do not retain the email in plaintext — only a one-way hash sufficient to confirm a deletion happened for a given address.
We do not retain your bet history, sportsbook credentials, AI chat history, or any other content of your account after deletion.
5. Timeline

6. Your rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with similar privacy rights, you may have additional rights including the right to obtain a copy of your data before deletion, the right to restrict processing, and the right to file a complaint with your data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@4bettorinsight.com. We'll
respond within the applicable statutory window (30 days under GDPR; 45
days under CCPA, extendable by 45 days with notice).
